City Storm Water Rebates Increasing

Authored on
Body

Rebates available through the Sustainable Storm Water Rebate Program are increasing! The program provides incentives for residents and businesses to install storm water capture devices that slow, spread, and sink storm water (rain), helping to reduce flooding, recharge groundwater, and prevent pollution of our creeks and ocean.

Rebates are offered for rain barrels, rain gardens, disconnecting downspouts, and removal of paved areas. Previously the program offered up to $3,000 in rebates - new rebate maximums include:

  • Up to $5,000 for Single Family Residential and Small Multi-Family Residential (1 - 4 dwelling units) projects
  • Up to $15,000 for Commercial and Large Multi-Family Residential (5+ dwelling units) projects
