Unscheduled Haulers

If you are disposing of waste generated from within the City of Santa Barbara and have your own vehicles with 1) a gross vehicle weight of seven tons or more, or 2) your containers are greater than ten cubic yards, you are required to have a valid Unscheduled Hauler Permit (even to haul waste from your own job sites).
To place a temporary roll-off on public street you must obtain a permit from the Public Works Department.
