The City of Santa Barbara strives to support active and alternative transportation modes in our community. Walking, biking, and rolling to work, school, and other destinations can help reduce climate impacts from greenhouse gas emissions. In Santa Barbara, transportation-related emissions are the single largest source of greenhouse gas emissions – so it makes a difference when you choose a mode of active transportation to get around.
