Together to Zero is the City’s campaign around all things climate, energy, and resiliency related. TOGETHER we can achieve net zero carbon emissions! 

The City has a goal to be carbon neutral by 2035! 

The City has the aspirational climate goal of reaching carbon neutrality by 2035, through the Together to Zero campaign! Reaching carbon neutrality means balancing greenhouse gas emissions with removal from the atmosphere, or achieving net zero carbon emissions. 

To reach this target, the City is updating its Climate Action Plan (CAP). The CAP will serve as a roadmap to carbon neutrality through measuring community-wide greenhouse gas emissions and developing bold climate action strategies.

Everyday Opportunities for Local Resilient Action!

The City of Santa Barbara is partnered with Climate Resilient SBC, Central Coast Community Action Campaign, to help people better understand how they can reduce their environmental impact and increase their resiliency. Designed by the City and County to cater to local residents’ needs, capabilities, and interests. Compete with people in your area to reduce personal GHGs or get involved for YOU!
