Through our 100% Green service, Santa Barbara Clean Energy provides 100% carbon-free electricity to Santa Barbara residents. This energy is generated from wind, solar, and hydroelectric facilities across the western United States.

Power Sources
Santa Barbara Clean Energy's carbon-free energy sources hail from California, Washington, British Columbia, and New Mexico. Make sure you are a 100% Green customer to choose carbon-free energy.
100% Green
All of our renewable energy sources are “Bucket 1 Bundled” Resources, meaning that the renewable electricity we purchase (even from wind farms in New Mexico) is routed directly to California. As a policy, Santa Barbara Clean Energy does not purchase unbundled renewable energy credits, so 100% Green customers can rest assured that their energy is in fact 100% Green.
