Find Incentives and Rebates

Find a Contractor

Unlike many other programs, Santa Barbara Clean Energy (SBCE) does not require customers to work with certain contractors to take advantage of our incentives. While we neither maintain lists of qualified contractors nor recommend individual contractors, you can view lists of contractors who have installed electrification technologies for SBCE customers below, along with installation costs for those projects.

Heat Pump Water Heater (HPWH) Installation

Heat Pump Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Installation

Residential Electric Vehicle (Res EV) Charger Installation

Additional Resources

In addition to the resources above, customers can find contractors using the Switch Is On Contractor Finder Tool and/or 3C-REN’s Contractor Directory. Both tools allow customers to narrow their search by geography, project type, and more. These tools are helpful because some programs (including those offered by TECH Clean California and 3C-REN) require customers to work with enrolled contractors and require contractors to apply for rebates on behalf of their customers.

SBCE recommends that customers confirm with their contractors in advance that they are enrolled in these programs and able to apply for (and pass through) incentives on their behalf.
