Help Shape the Future of Santa Barbara's Waterfront
The City of Santa Barbara invites community members to help shape the upcoming Waterfront Adaptation Plan by attending a community open house on potential adaptation options that aim to address increasing coastal flooding and erosion over the next 30 years. The Plan will address a three mile stretch along the City's Waterfront, including Leadbetter Beach, the Harbor, East Beach, and East Beach. Community input will play a critical role in refining these options as they are developed into a Draft Waterfront Adaptation Plan, anticipated for release in spring 2027.
Respond to Our Survey
Community members are also invited to participate in a brief community survey that will remain open through May 18.
