Real choices. Collective change.

Own Your Impact is a community sustainability campaign that empowers residents to take simple, meaningful actions that reduce emissions, save energy, and protect what makes our region special. When you make climate‑smart choices at home and on the go, you’re not just reducing your carbon footprint - you’re helping build a healthier, more resilient community.

What Does It Mean to Own Your Impact?

Owning your impact means recognizing that everyday decisions - how you use energy, get around, shop, and reduce waste -add up. This campaign turns those everyday choices into achievable monthly actions, practical resources, and positive community momentum.

No perfection required. Just progress.

How the Campaign Works:

Monthly Focus Areas - Each month highlights a sustainability theme, such as clean energy, low‑carbon transportation, reducing waste, or using what you already have, delivered straight to your inbox. You’ll get clear, doable actions that fit real life. Fill out the form to make a pact and build accountability.

Earn Digital Badges - Complete actions and earn digital badges along the way, from trying something new to becoming a Sustainability Steward. Badges celebrate progress, not perfection.

Enjoy Incentives - Local business partnerships, giveaways, and more reward participants for positive behavior change.

Community Impact - When residents participate together, the collective impact grows - lower emissions, healthier neighborhoods, and a stronger connection to our shared environment.

Why It Matters

Climate action doesn’t only happen through big policies or major upgrades. It happens when thousands of small actions move in the same direction.

By participating, you help:

  • Reduce local greenhouse gas emissions
  • Support cleaner air and water
  • Lower energy use and utility costs
  • Strengthen community‑led climate solutions

Own Your Impact is flexible, practical, and judgment‑free. Whether you’re just getting started or already climate‑curious, there’s a place for you here.

Every action counts. Every person matters. Own your impact.
