Home Electrification Workshops Saturday, July 25
Santa Barbara Clean Energy (SBCE) is partnering with CalNEXT to host two free home electrification workshops for Santa Barbara residents on Saturday, July 25, at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Both sessions will be held at the Community Environmental Council's Environmental Hub, located at 1219 State Street.
The workshops are part of a Community Electrification Pilot program designed to help homeowners explore simple, affordable ways to transition from gas appliances to modern, energy-efficient 120-volt electric alternatives. Participants will learn about practical and affordable plug-in electrification technologies, connect with trained contractors, and discover practical solutions for improving their home.
Eligible participants may also have the opportunity to receive a free 120-volt appliance and professional installation as part of the pilot program.

SBCE's Residential EV Program is Back!
SBCE recently relaunched the popular Residential EV Program, which provides generous rebates to eligible customers for the purchase or lease of an electric vehicle (EV), purchase of Level 2 EV charging equipment, and associated electrical work.
