The Sustainability & Resilience Department is made up of the Clean Community Division, Community Engagement Division, Creeks Division, and Energy & Climate Division

Our Department manages the City's waste collection contract with MarBorg Industries and provides carbon-free electricity through Santa Barbara Clean Energy. We protect and beautify our City and local environment through regular litter clean-ups, climate adaptation programs, resilience efforts, creek restoration and water quality improvement programs, volunteer events, community education, code enforcement, and much more.
