If you find a beehive or swarm in the public right-of-way or inside City water meter boxes, the City will dispatch beekeepers to assess the situation and safely relocate the bees. For bees in the public right-of-way (streets, sidewalks, medians, and street trees), please call Vector Control at (805) 564-5596. For bees inside a City water meter box, call Meter Services at (850) 897-2516.

Bees on Private Property

For bees on private property, please call the Mosquito and Vector Management District at (805) 969-5050 for a current list of beekeepers who can relocate the bees.

Mosquitoes on Public Property

For mosquitoes in the public right-of-way, please call Vector Control at (805) 564-5596.

The Countywide Mosquito & Vector Management District offers free mosquito fish for private ponds.
