Creek Tree Program
Do you own or manage a creek side property in the City of Santa Barbara?
The City of Santa Barbara’s Creek Tree Program assists private landowners with improving wildlife habitat along creeks in Santa Barbara through the planting of native trees. The program is only available to property owners along creeks within the City of Santa Barbara, and all projects must be approved before receiving funding.
For approved projects up to $1,000, the Creeks Division will provide all project costs (no cost to owner).
For approved projects up to $5,000, the Creeks Division will provide the first $1,000 and 75% of the remainder (owner will contribute no more than $1,000). For example, if the total project cost is $3,000, the Creeks Division contributes $2,500 and the property owner contributes $500.
