Title
Join the Creeks Division for Mission Creek Bridges Trail Walk Sunday, May 18
Authored on
Body
Be part of the very first community walk along our new Mission Creek Bridges Trail, a 4.0-mile route (one-way on sidewalks) from W. Gutierrez Street to Oak Park. This walk is part of the Creeks Division's Urban Creek Trails program.
Walk near dozens of majestic sycamore trees as you cross Mission Creek 19 times and learn about water quality and habitat improvements. We will also visit Old Mission Creek, the main creek channel prior to rerouting in the 1950s, explore the first and most recent restoration projects by the City’s Creeks Division, and see small and large storm water improvement projects.
