
Free Household Hazardous Waste Collection Event for City of Santa Barbara Residents
The City of Santa Barbara's Clean Community Division, in partnership with MarBorg Industries, is hosting a FREE household hazardous waste (HHW) collection event on Saturday, March 15, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The last two events had a strong turnout, with 729 residents safely disposing of 56,495 pounds of hazardous waste. This event provides residents with a safe and convenient way to dispose of household hazardous materials.

Materials accepted:
- Antifreeze
- Batteries
- Used motor oil/filters
- Paint (latex, oil-based, stains, etc.)
- Fluorescent lightbulbs
- Cleaning supplies
- Garden chemicals
