Santa Barbara has many sunny days and capturing that solar energy can support the resilience and energy reliability of your home.

Brighten Solar Co. offers exclusive discounts on solar and batteries for Santa Barbara Clean Energy residential customers: $100 per kilowatt for solar systems and $70 per kilowatt-hour for battery systems. 

Plus, if you are a California Alternate Rates for Energy (CARE) customer you get an additional discount: $125 per kilowatt for solar systems and $100 per kilowatt-hour for battery systems. 

It’s as easy as… 

1.   Email us at SBCEPrograms@SantaBarbaraCA.gov with your name, address, and SBCE service account number (this is same as the Edison service account number, it should start with an “8”). Make sure to let us know if you qualify for the CARE additional discount. 

2.   Receive email from our team confirming your eligibility. 

3.   Work with Brighten Solar Co. to build energy resiliency and reliability for your home!
