Opt Out of SB Clean Energy

If you are opting out due to rate or cost concerns, we encourage you to review our Understanding Your Bill page and contact our team to walk you through your bill. 

Before you opt out, consider opting down to Green Start; it is the exact same cost as Edison with the added benefit of your power coming from clean and renewable sources. 

Customers who opt out are subject to Southern California Edison’s terms and conditions and cannot return to Santa Barbara Clean Energy for one year. Once you opt out, you will be ineligible for Santa Barbara Clean Energy incentives and programs.
