Santa Barbara Clean Energy's Residential EV Program is Back!

Santa Barbara Clean Energy (SBCE) is excited announce that our popular Residential EV Program relaunched earlier this month, with updated incentives that make switching to an electric vehicle (EV) more affordable.

Eligible SBCE customers can apply for rebates toward the purchase or lease of a new or used electric vehicle (income-qualified customers only), as well as the purchase and installation of a Level 2 EV charger and associated electrical work (all residential SBCE customers). Vehicles purchased on or after July 1, 2026, are eligible for incentives.

Since its launch, SBCE has helped more than 450 applicants make the switch to electric vehicles through this program!
